Back in 2001 a truck driver went off the road into a muddy farm field by my house it had a full load in it and was sunk up to the axles in mud approximately 150 to 200 yards off the road Metro trucks couldn’t get it out. The Amish came with A team of draft horses hooked onto that tractor trailer and pulled it out of the field like it wasn’t nothing it was amazing

We have a 7-year-old Shire mare that we bought when she was only 4 months old. She’s about 18 hands tall and she weighs 2200 pounds. Despite her size, she a giant “puppy.” Very protective of her rider. She loves pulling a sleigh and a carriage as well. Her best friend is a 7-year-old Morgan mare although she’s a bit feistier than the Shire mare.
I used a Belgian as a saddle horse for years, he was my favorite bar none. Also, Gypsy Vanners are not considered by many people to be a breed of their own, and I don’t believe they have ever shown a lot of credentials in competitions of any kind. They are simply known for their great beauty.
